

She was born in Keene, December 27, 1930, the daughter of Lawrence and Hazel (Fellows) Russell and had resided in this region for most of her life.
Her husband of 62 years, Don M Hayward died in 2010.
Pat & Don were avid campers and had traveled the country in their motor home.
Pat was very talented and made beautiful braided rugs, she also sewed, knitted, crocheted, tatted, whittled, and painted. She loved to read.
She was an extremely generous person giving of her time, talents and love to her family and friends.
Survivors include: her three sons: Don M. Hayward lll of Swanzey, Mark Hayward and his wife Michelle, of Westmoreland, David Hayward and his wife Susan of Keene and; a brother Thomas Russell of Plymouth, MA, five grandchildren: Mark Hayward Jr. and his wife Maloney, Jeremiah Hayward and his wife Kathleen Dooher, April Turin and her husband Jesse, Kelly Donahue and her husband Brandon and a step granddaughter Erin Holden and her husband Luke, five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Hayward will be held at the family plot in the Woodland Cemetery (off North Lincoln Street) in Keene, Wednesday morning at 11:00 o’clock. Friends are invited. There are no calling hours.
It has been requested that gifts be made in memory of Mrs. Hayward to Maplewood Nursing Home Activity Fund, 201 River Road in Westmoreland, NH 03467.
The Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene is in charge of arrangements.
