Paul Daniel Dudak Sr.

May 18, 1935March 27, 2018

Paul D. Dudak, Sr., 82, of Marlow, NH passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 27, 2018 at Keene Center Genesis following a period of failing health.

He was born on May 18, 1935 in Bridgeport, CT the son of Andrew and Mary (Bobby) Dudak. He grew up in Bridgeport, one of thirteen, on what was famously known as “Whiskey Hill”.

Upon completion of high school, Paul went on to study at the University of Bridgeport where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering.

Paul had been employed by Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford, CT and Stelma of Stamford, CT. Until retirement he had worked for Foxboro Scientific in East Bridgewater, MA as a Senior Product Development Engineer. He engineered products for many well-known companies including NASA and Budweiser.

Paul was active in North End Little League in Bridgeport, CT as an Umpire and Coach. He was also a member of the local bowling league. Paul had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed sharing his passion of hunting and fishing with family and friends. Beyond his own family, Paul was fondly known as G-Pop. Paul enjoyed watching sports on TV, rooting on his favorite football teams which included NY Giants and the Green Bay Packers. He had many dog companions throughout the years that were just as important as his family. In recent years, he was never without a treat for Jameson and Little Maizy.

Living in Marlow since 1995, with his son Paul Jr. and his family, Paul loved the property, views from his porch, and wildlife that he called home. He will be remembered for being rugged, resilient, but mostly for his kind-heartedness. He was a sharp-minded analytical thinker with a quick wit. He had a strong Christian faith and placed all of his trust in God.

Paul will be deeply missed by his children: Linda Mako and her significant other Sean Riddle of Oxford, CT, Paul Dudak, Jr. and his wife Holly of Marlow, NH and Lisa Sanzone and her husband Dave of Trumbull, CT; grandchildren: Colemann Dudak and his significant other Breanna Dailey, Katherine Dudak, Morgan Mako, Mitchell Mako and his wife Angelica, Brittany Fabrizio and her significant other Steve Pronechen, and Nicholas Sanzone; great-grandchildren: Mason Fabrizio, Jackson Pronechen and, Phoenix Pronechen; sisters: Irene Bandre and her husband Andrew of Trumbull, CT and Catherine Brezza of Fairfield, CT; former wife and mother of his children with whom he was close with: Rosemary (MiGasko) Dudak of Shelton, CT; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

He was predeceased by a son: Mark Dudak; grandchild: Vi Fabrizio; great-grandchild: Noah Dudak-Swain; and ten siblings.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 12:00PM at the Marlow United Methodist Church, 11 Church Street, Marlow, NH, followed by a celebration of life at the Odd Fellows Hall.
