
He was born in Corning, New York, on October 25, 1929, the son of Elizabeth (Cowley) and Paul V. Lovette, Sr.
Following graduation from the University of Notre Dame, he enlisted in the Navy and served as a deck officer during the Korean War.
Mr. Lovette worked for 21 years in the marketing of high temperature space-age ceramics. He left that field to fulfill a long desired wish to own and operate his own travel agency in Simsbury, Connecticut from 1973 until his retirement in 1996.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia A. (Flynn) Lovette of Rindge; two sons, Christopher Lovette of Elkhart, IN and Terrence Lovette of Mishawaka, IN; five daughters, Jennifer Askins of Parkville, MO, Sara Wolfe of South Bend, IN, Mary Lovette of Ontario, NY, Michelle Parker of North Granby, CT, Trish Masse of Colchester, CT; a step-son, Mark Waller of Missoula, MT; a stepdaughter, Melissa Waller of Rindge; a sister, Mary Lou Lovette; a niece, Maribeth (Daley) Pannell, of Toronto, Canada; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Timothy Lovette; a sister, Betty Daley; and a nephew, Steve Daley.
At Mr. Lovette’s request, services will be private.
The Foley Funeral Home of Keene, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
