

She was born in Quincy, MA, on March 17, 1911, the daughter of John and Ethel (Parker) Norrie. She graduated from Quincy High School and lived in the Quincy area working in banks in Boston and Quincy. She also worked as secretary to the manager of the Park Square building in Boston. Later she and her husband moved to Wentworth, NH in 1960. While in Wentworth, she became the Postmaster of the Wentworth Post Office. She moved to Winchester in 1985 where she lived ever since.
She married Warren K. Stiles in a ceremony in Quincy, MA in 1943. They enjoyed many years of marriage, before his death in 1973.
When she was younger she enjoyed horseback riding and downhill skiing.
Mrs. Stiles was a talented musician who played the xylophone, piano and organ. She was a piano teacher, a church organist and soloist. She loved gardening, always having a large and productive vegetable garden. This may have been the reason to her long and healthy life. She enjoyed travelling both in the US and abroad, enjoying trips to Europe and the Philippines. She enjoyed card games and Scrabble with her family.
She was a member and part time organist at the Winchester, NH United Church of Christ. Pauline most recently was the recipient of the Boston Post Cane as the oldest resident of Winchester.
She is survived by her children: Stan Stiles and his wife Beth of Winchester, Warren P. Stiles of Campton, NH and Alice Stiles of Fleming Island, FL, and her grandchildren: Joanna S. Strutt and her husband Mark of Ft. Worth, TX, Beky Stiles and Katie Stiles, both of Chichester, NH Loudell Mae Stiles of Manila, Philippines, Matthew S. Stiles of Keene.
She is predeceased by her husband: Warren K. “Kenny” Stiles.
There are no public calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, November 9th at 2:00 PM in the Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester.
