Philip Adam Taylor, 43, of Walpole, died peacefully, surrounded by his children and family, late Tuesday night, March 15, 2016, at the Cheshire Medical Center/ Dartmouth Hitchcock - Keene, following his courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Springfield, VT, on April 24, 1972, to Edward, J. and Ruth E. (Morse) Taylor, Sr. He attended area schools before leaving to enter the workforce.
For the last 15 plus years he has worked for the Filtrine Manufacturing Company as a welder.
He enjoyed creating things with his hands, whether art with his welding, wood burning, or cooking for his family and friends. He loved fishing and hunting, and spending time with his best friend, his brother Jon. His biggest pride in his life was that of his children, and soon to come grandchild.
He is survived by his father: Edward J. Taylor, Sr. of Putney, VT; his children: Alexis Wasson and her husband, Tyler of Walpole and Zachary Taylor of Walpole; a Granddaughter, who will be making her appearance any time now: Kitara Raelyn Wasson; his 4 brothers: Edward J. Taylor, Jr. of Florida, James A. “Tony” Taylor of Putney, VT, Joseph “Joe” Taylor and his wife Julie of Putney, VT, and Jonathan “Jon” Taylor and his wife Kristy of Walpole; and 2 sisters: Cynthia Buckley and her husband Jamie of Alstead and Victoria Taylor of Reading, VT. He is predeceased by his mother: Ruth Elizabeth (Morse) Taylor and a sister: Lisa Taylor.
Per Philips wishes, there will be no public calling hours. There will be a gathering, celebrating his life, at the family home, on Saturday, April 2, 2016, from 1:00 until 6:00 pm. A private burial will take place, at a later date, in the Family lot at Meeting House Hill Cemetery in Brattleboro, VT,
