

Phyllis J. (Dolly) Parker, 86, of 110 Arch Street formerly of Belmont Ave, Keene, died early Friday morning, November 8, 2013, at the Cheshire Medical Center – Dartmouth Hitchcock - Keene, following a period of failing health.
She was born in Marlborough, December 19, 1926, the daughter of Alfred and Irene (Annala) Beaudoin and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Marlborough High School and at the time of her retirement, had been employed for thirty-one years as the Register of Probate at the Cheshire County Court House. She had previously worked for the National Grange Insurance Company in Keene.
On June 8, 1947, she married Roland E. Parker in a ceremony at the Marlborough Federated Church. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage before his death in 2010.
She enjoyed playing Bridge, reading, travelling the United States and overseas with family and friends, quilting, gardening and most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons: Stephen E. Parker and his wife Louise of Enfield, and Joel R. Parker of Salt Lake City, Utah; one daughter Jane E. Parker-Ishii and her husband Paul of Federal Way, Washington; three grandchildren: Brian Parker, Alison Ishii and Owen Ishii. She was predeceased by her siblings: Priscilla Richardson, Joanne Beaudoin and Winston “Buddy” Beaudoin.
A Memorial Service, celebrating the life of Mrs. Parker, will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services. There will be no public calling hours. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
