Mrs. Dorner, Ellen, Bruce -

  Please accept my condolences on the passing of your husband and father.  I recall Mr. Dorner as having an energy and enthusiam unrivaled by most of the adults I knew as a child in Newport.  Your family's departure to Florida was a loss for this entire city.   I still have signs Mr. Dorner made. He seemed to me to have a special spark  irrespective of the task at hand.  Bruce put up with me as a skinny Sea Cadet. Ellen started my engineering career by purchasing my first Vac-u-form creation in third grade.  You both exhibited an integrity that set you apart from your peers.  I am guessing that came from your Dad and Mom and that he had every reason to be proud of your journey from RI to FL back to NE and the gifts of family that you brought him.
