My dear friend...so glad we were able to reconnect and reminisce after all those years.  To Rob's family: He will always have a very special place in my heart. We went to Va Wesleyan together and he was someone who was sent by God to shine a light into my life at a very tough time. What a fantastic love he had for everyone and my life is so much richer for having known Rob. Until we meet again sweet man.

Rob was a great friend and mentor to our son Nick, who passed, far too young, earlier this year. Don't know how to express in words our gratitude for his love and leadership. We just would like his family to know how much he meant to our beloved son. Andy and Michelle

I was saddened to hear of Rob's passing.  I graduated Winchendon in 1982, and went on to Va Wesleyan as well.  I remember Rob as a kind and gentle person.

I was saddened and shocked by Rob's passing last week! You we're a close friend at Virginia Wesleyan my first two years, pal. As often happens, we eventually chose our own, different paths, but my appreciation for and good memories of you will never diminish. I know your road after college was not an easy one, but I am confident now that you are at peace and free of pain. You'll be deeply missed Rob and my heartfelt sympathies go out to your family.

When I came to VA Wesleyan, I was so young, so undefined as a person. I hadn't yet cultivated any appreciation for good music but Rob, in his wisdom, changed all that. We had so many fun adventures. One especially sweet memory I have was when he and I did a musical together in which we had a dance sequence at the end.  I had to run across the stage, leap in his arms and have him lift me in the air.  It was terrifying & exhilerating...but when he lifted me and I took flight I felt safe. You dear sweet man, I hope you are feeling safe and loved at this very moment.  Thank you for the gifts you gave to all of us!

Rob was a great friend and truly a fun person to work with at the Marlow Post office. You may be gone but will never be forgotten. To your friends and family I am sending my deepest sympathies. Live on brother.

I only knew Rob a short time back in the late 90s. He was always very courteous with a terrific sense of humor. I'm sad to hear this news and wish his family peace and strength during their difficult time.

Damn Rob. Just saw you a few weeks ago and I just said hi and hurried along, late to something as usual. You were a ray of sunshine each time I ran into you in Keene over the years and I will miss your huge smile and miss chatting. I know it wasn't an easy road for you and I can only wish it had been easier. Then I think about passing Quinton in town now and then, and seeing that same huge smile waving at me. Robbie was my dear friend from Court St growing up ...
