I was so shocked and very saddened to hear the news of Bob’s passing. Although I only knew Bob for a few years while in the Cape Canaveral area, I always looked forward to seeing his smile and great laugh whenever we were together. Our dinners and drinks with friends every Tuesday were always an event I looked forward to, as Bob jovial personality made for a most pleasant and enjoyable evening. Diane was eager to hug, kiss and share her love to all present; they were a perfect and happy couple. I will miss Bob terribly……all my Love and Prayers to his family and friends.

Im so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a straight shooter..tell it like it is kind of guy. I respect those kind of people the most. Ill never forget showing up to his house just as he was leaving to go on vacation and had given strict instructions that there were not to be any parties while he was gone. He would yell at me not to touch the beer in the house and I would just laugh and tell him as soon as he was far enough away the keg would be delivered so we wouldnt need to.You were one of a kind Mr. Meagher. My thoughts snd prayers are with your family. Xo

I was born a few months before Bobby and decided towanted to marry him when I was 10. My mother told me that first cousins couldn’t marry, and I was heartbroken.
Bobby taught me to shoot marbles (I lost), slide down the cellar coal chute ( I got filthy), and to box with big padded gloves ( I got a fat lip). He taught me the mischievous side of life, and I loved it. He had an infectious sense of humor, and will always be my first love.
