Robin I. Gesick

Her Parents, Edna E. “Marty” Harper and Robert A. Martynowski Sr, welcomed their daughter into the world on August 24, 1955, in Leavenworth, KS. Robin grew up in Leavenworth and was a 1973 graduate of Leavenworth High School

Robin proudly served her country in the US Air Force as a jet engine mechanic, achieving the rank of Sargent, serving from 1979-1984.

Following her service to her country, she attended Franklin Pierce College receiving an Associate Degree in Information Technology.

Robin worked for the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough for forty years as an IT Systems Analyst. She was the first informational technology person at the hospital and her role there was very important to her.

She was a longtime member and club officer and tournament director with the Keene Horseshoe Club.

She enjoyed tending to her vegetable gardens; and loved reading. She was an avid NASCAR fan, routing for her favorites Jeff Gordon and Martin Truex.

Robin loved the Christmas holiday, dressing up as Santa and giving out the gifts on Christmas morning. She had a special place in her heart for her cat “Lillie”.

She will be greatly missed by many, especially her husband and devoted life partner since 1992, Robert G. “Bob” Gesick, of Stoddard; a son, David Fryman and family of NH; Bob’s daughters who all referred to Robin as “mom”, Stephanie Paquette and her husband, Chris, of Nashville, TN; Paige Gesick and her significant other, Michael Underwood, of North Swanzey, NH; and another daughter Kristen Gesick, of Langdon, NH; her grandchildren, Preston Paquette, Mariah Paquette, Brittney Gesick-LaMears; her sister Rhonda Harper and husband Roy Harper, of Oklahoma; a brother Rory Martynowski of KS; and a niece, Mandy Ingram.

Robin is predeceased by her mother in 2020, her father in 2020 and her brother, Robert A. Martynowski, Jr. in 1992.

Services and burial in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen will be held privately by the family.
