Rog rode to work with me when he worked in Vergennes and I worked in Middlebury. He had long hair and a beard at that time. One night, without telling me, he shaved his beard and cut his hair crew cut short. The next morning when I went to pick him up, I drove right past this guy I didn't know and drove around the block thinking Rog would be out there by the time I got back around. Well, this guy I didn't know was still there and I started to go past him again thinking must be Rog wasn't going in that day , when this guy I didn't know yells at me and I stopped and it was Rog. We joked about that for a long time .He was my best man at my wedding and I at his. I truly loved that man. I miss him.
