She recently celebrated her 57th birthday with her family in Easton, MA. Her beautiful spirit now soars with the eagles.
On July 11, 2009 she married the love of her life: William Brodne. The two started a life together in the hills of Acworth, surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.
She was currently working at Temple Chiropractic, in Bellows Falls, Vermont and had also worked for many years, as on office nurse, at the Monadnock Community Hospital. She was very active in her community and was a member of the United Church of Acworth. She served on many Boards, councils and in many different capacities at the church. She also enjoyed working as a volunteer in the community: working at the Food Kitchen for the Fall Mountain Food Shelf and various other organizations. She loved giving back to those in need.
Sheila was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton and after moving to New Hampshire attended St. Joseph School of Nursing and then spent many years as a caring LPN. She was always a lover of nature, animals, wonderment, family and friends. She enjoyed being in the outdoors: whether hiking, gardening or doing yoga, she felt very connected to nature.
Sheila is survived by her husband William Brodne of South Acworth, NH, her parents Paul and Patricia Fruzzetti of Easton MA, three sisters, Paula Spear of Wilton NH, Laura Bloch Bourque of Peterborough NH, Tina Legare of Easton MA., and predeceased by their brother Richard (Rick) Fruzzetti. She was a loving aunt to 8 nieces and nephews who knew her as “She She.” She Is also survived by her stepchildren: Carolyn Maloney and William Brodne and their families.
A Celebration of Sheila’s life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1pm at the United Church of Acworth ~ Valley Church, Route 123A, in South Acworth. Burial will follow in the Acworth Cemetery, off Hill Road in Acworth. There will be no public calling hours.
