She was born in Quincy MA, January 8, 1931 daughter of Lloyd E. and Dorothy (Reynolds) Jones.
She spent most of her childhood in the Manchester NH area and graduated from Manchester Central High in 1948. Shirley went on to Westbrook Junior College, in Portland Maine and graduated in 1950 as a Medical Secretary.
On August 29th 1953 she married her high school sweetheart, Albert S. Brady Jr., in Bedford, NH. They were married for 44 years at the time of Al’s death in 1997.
In 1959 they moved to Keene to open the Credit Bureau’s of Keene and Brattleboro, which they ran for 20 years. Shirley went on to work at Public Service of New Hampshire until her retirement.
During her lifetime she was a member of Rainbow Girls of Manchester, participated in Elks Club, Lions Club and other fundraising events. She was a devoted daughter, wife and mother. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Keene. Shirley was also an avid reader.
Survived by her eldest daughter Sandra A. Boucher and her husband Brian S. Boucher and children Brett and Elizabeth Guyette and their children Ella and Kellen, Chad and Lindsey Guyette and their son Chase, Erin Carpenter and Tim Candello and their son Colby. Her youngest daughter Sharon A. Laflamme and her husband Larry D. Laflamme and children Garrett B. Wilson and Alec B. Laflamme. Her sister in-law and brother in-law Janet and James Lodge of Hooskett NH, her cousin Beverly Dexheimer and her husband Don. Westminster,SC.
A graveside service will be held at Monadnock View Cemetery in West Keene on Monday, June 17th at 11:00 AM the public is invited. There are no public calling hours.
