She was born in Methuen, MA on April 10, 1972, the daughter of Marie R. (Matson) Blackstock and the late James M. Blackstock.
Tahneen grew up in Gilsum, NH and attended St. Joseph Regional School in Keene, NH. She was a 1990 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey, NH, and a 1994 graduate of Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH.
She worked for over 20 years with PC Connection in Keene, and at her home in Southern Pines.
She enjoyed her flower gardens and was a never-ending home reconstruction project diva, earning the nickname "Mrs. Norm" from the TV show "This Old House". She transformed part of her large 85-year-old home into an Airbnb and called it "Sweet Tee on the Greens" as she lived on a golf course. She loved to be near the ocean, reading books, and drinking coffee. She adored her two lovely daughters and extended family. Tahneen had an infectious laugh and loved jamming and singing to music – always with a smile on her face. Tee talked for long hours on the phone with her sisters sometimes all day long.
Tahneen will be greatly missed by her beautiful daughters, Ella L. Greenslit and Ariana M. Greenslit, both of Southern Pines; her mother Marie Blackstock of Whispering Pines, NC; sisters Janel M. Blackstock of Rossford, OH, Heather A. Blackstock of Cameron, NC; nieces Jailyn M., Janessa D., Jessamyn C., and Joslyn G. Dolan, all of Toledo, OH, Hadley A. Huff of Cameron, NC; nephew James M. Huff of Cameron, NC; great-nephew Hudson J. Sutphin of Maumee, OH; aunts Deborah Goodell of Nevada, MO, Dolores Grenier of Dracut, MA; uncles Harold Matson of Bethesda, MD, Richard Trudel of St. Petersburg, FL; and many cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 25th at 11:00am in St. Bernard Church, 185 Main Street, Keene, NH. Burial with committal prayers will follow the funeral mass in the Centennial Cemetery, Centennial Road, Gilsum.
