

Her parents, Edward J. and Philomene (Lassonde) Marrotte, welcomed their daughter into the world on February 20, 1926, in Troy, NH. She grew up in Troy attending local schools, and was a 1944 graduate of Troy High School.
Theresa was married to Raymond J. Lamothe on June 28, 1947 in the Immaculate Conception Church in Troy. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Nashua.
Theresa and Raymond were the founders of R.J. Lamothe Refrigeration in Nashua. They successfully operated their business for over thirty years, retiring in 1989.
Theresa enjoyed traveling, including trips to Europe, two trips to Paris, the Islands, and Canada. Following retirement, she spent many winters in Florida.
She was a great cook in her earlier days and loved to have folks over to the house for supper and a few hands of cards. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and an infectious laugh. She also enjoyed playing the piano and singing along to her favorite tunes.
Theresa was a member and grand regent of the Catholic Daughters of America, and a longtime parishioner of St. Christopher Parish in Nashua.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews throughout the country. He beloved husband of 55 years, Raymond, passed away on January 1, 2003. She was predeceased by six brothers, Arthur, Wilfred, Daniel, Edward, Omar and Marcel; and six sisters, Victoria, Madeleine, Janette, Eva, Emma and Marie.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 10:30am in St. Bernard Church, 185 Main Street, Keene, NH. Burial with committal prayers will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Main Street, Keene. There are no public calling hours.
