I have been friends with Tim since we first met at Fuller Elementary School. We shared many classes over the years and were on the debate team together. Tim was often my cheerleader when I was encountering problems or needed a confidence boost. We had lost track over the years but became reaquainted via Facebook a few years ago. Tim had a heart of gold and was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I've ever known and his sense of humor was genuine, with a twinkle in his eye. My life is richer for having had him in it and even from afar, I acutely feel the void that has come into the world with his passing. My heart and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time. Tim was loved and will be missed by many. Rest in peace, my sweet friend.

My parents (Judy & Charley Putnam) and I are so sorry for your loss. Tim has been a good friend to me across many miles and years, from debate team in high school to visits with mutual friends in Phoenix. He touched so many people in positive ways.

You will always be with me in thought and spirit- and will never be forgotten. We love you and miss you and will forever be thankful for having you in our lives. Teacher, mentor, friend and Godfather to Joshua, our lives are richer because of your love and dedication. My late night calls, and last minute ideas were always embraced with a sense of concern and you would be there in a minute if I needed you. Our concert just a few months ago will be my favorite memory- we sang the songs out loud and celebrated our times together. I love you and may you fly high with the angels and be at peace knowing you made a difference in many lives with your compassion and love. Love, Debi and Joshua
