Her parents, Antonio and Carmella (DiLorenzo) Caldarelli welcomed their daughter into the world on July 16, 1926, in Keene, NH. Carrie attended St. Joseph Regional School and was a 1944 graduate of Keene High School.
Her face was well-known in the community helping customers at the former Newberry Department Store in Keene, and later with the former Quality Shop in Keene, forming a bond with many customers over her fifty years in customer service.
Carrie loved walking miles a day with her friends. A passion that lent itself well into Carrie’s 70’s. She had a green thumb for tending to her flower gardens and plantings. She loved attending flea markets with her husband, Harry, and was very proud of her dollhouse filled with many favorite miniatures making this home complete. She found a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds.
She will be greatly missed by many, especially her son, William Campbell and his wife Dawn Lincoln of Westmoreland, NH; her grandchildren, Jaclyn Scott, Kelsey Matson and her husband, Craig; her great-grandchildren, Elara Scott, Aspen Scott, Wyatt Matson, Claire Matson; a brother, John Caldarelli and his wife Judy of Swanzey, NH; a sister, Rita Lindgren and her husband Ed, of Keene, NH; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Her husband of 31 years, Harry W. Campbell predeceased her on January 24, 1988. Three sisters, Graziella Rachel Kelly, Mary A. Baldor and Elena T. Caldarelli predeceased her.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 11:00am in the Evergreen Cemetery, Forest Lake Road, Winchester, NH. All are welcome.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Campbell’s memory to St. Vincent De Paul, c/o Parish of the Holy Spirit, 173 Main Street, Keene, NH 03431.
