

She was born in Keene, NH, September 18, 1941 and raised by her grandparents, Harold and Josephine Black. She grew up in Keene and has been a resident of Winchester for the past 47 years.
She took great pride in taking care of her home and raising her family. She also enjoyed going out to eat. She treasured the special times spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Willard of Winchester, Karen Wrobel and her husband, Steve, of Hinsdale, NH; her son, Stuart “Duke” Champney of Winchester; her daughter-in-law, Jodi Champney of Winchester; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Arndt, Jason Champney, Nicole Cook, Jessica Champney, Kaylie Champney, Laci Champney, Tiffany Qualters; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Gloria LaBarre of Keene, and many nieces and nephews. Her husband of 39 years, Stuart H. Champney, Sr., died January 6, 1998. She was predeceased by her siblings; Kenneth Merrifield, Juliane O. Jantti, Josephine K. Leslie, Buddy, Gus, Bobby, Dickie, John, Virginia, Alice and Mary.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Evergreen Cemetery, Winchester. There are no public calling hours.
