Whalen R Dunn

He was born on August 18, 1987, in Keene, NH, the son of Patty Ann Dunn of Keene and the late Roger Murphy of Westmoreland. He was raised by his father Dennis G. McClorey and his mother the late Diane Wright McClorey.

Whalen attended Keene Schools and participated in many local sports programs. He was recognized by family and friends as an exceptional artist since early childhood. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, boating and water skiing, but mostly he loved being with his family and friends.

He is survived by Patty Ann Dunn, Dennis G. McClorey, a brother: Lucas David-Kirk Dunn of Keene, a sister: Maxine Rose Dunn of Keene, his grandparents: Geraldine T. Dunn of Midland, GA., Whalen B. Dunn Venice, FL., Charles S. and Loretta D. Wright of Surry, and Margaret I. (McClurey) Brady of Gilsum, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and very dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the Fletcher Funeral Home. Calling Hours will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00 until 12:00. Burial will be held in Monadnock View Cemetery in Keene following the service.

Flowers are welcome, or Memorial donations be made in, Whalen R. Dunn’s name, to help support the Keene Skate Park c/o Keene Parks & Rec Department, 312 Washington St, Keene, NH 03431. Checks would be made out to “City of Keene” with Whalen’s name and “Skate Park” on the Memo Line.
