

He was born in Keene, NH, November 28, 1987, the son of Dawn M (Keyser) and William J. Broussard, III. He grew up in Hudson and Sullivan, NH, attending schools in Hudson and also the Monadnock Regional Junior-Senior High School in Swanzey, NH.
Billy loved playing sports, participating in the Hudson youth baseball league, and also playing on the high school baseball team. As a high school freshman, he was a kicker for the school football team. His love for football found him continuing to play even while suffering a broken foot.
He especially enjoyed the out of doors, hunting and hiking. His special times were those spent fishing with his grandfather, whom he lovingly referred to as “papa”. While in school, his love for the outdoors was reflected in his taking of forestry classes.
Survivors include his father, William J. Broussard, III, and his wife, Marybeth, of Hudson, his mother, Dawn M. Broussard and her longtime companion, James Fontaine, of Sullivan, two brothers; Edward H. Broussard and Justin A. Broussard, both of Hudson, his maternal grandmother, Barbara A. Keyser, of Winchester, NH, paternal grandparents, Sandra E. and William J. Broussard, Jr., of Dunne, NC, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Edward H. Keyser.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Avenue, Keene. Family and friends are welcome. Family and friends are also invited to call on Tuesday evening, September 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley Street , Nashua, NH, and again on Wednesday evening, September 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in St. Margaret Mary Church, 33 Arch Street, Keene.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Broussard’s memory to the Alvirne High School Sports Department, 200 Derry Road, Hudson, NH 03051.
The Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
