Alissa Auer a vocational rehabilitation counselor and lifelong advocate for those with disabilities passed away on May 23. She was born on Aug 9, 1972 to Peter Nichols a retired minister and Betty Nichols, née Ely a retired teacher in Norwalk, OH.
She survived by her husband Bryan an IT Manager, son Christopher Cyr a clerk, sisters Christy Alvear, née Nichols a teacher and Jessica Albitz, nee Nichols, a nurse. Also surviving are her nieces Sophia, Maya, and Maggie Alvear of Fort Worth, and Emily and Abby Albitz of Laureldale, PA. She was the best aunt ever and loved her nieces with her whole heart. She preceded in death by her first husband and Christopher’s father Duane Cyr.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Lighthouse for the Blind of Fort Worth. There will be a private memorial service.
