She was born April 15, 1933 in Merkel to Robert and Ruth Ida Jinkins. In July of 1950, she married Loss “L.C.” Williams. They were married for 31 years
Brooxie was a sweet, loving woman that met everyone with a smile. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, painting, crocheting, square dancing and singing in the church choir. Her greatest source of joy was watching her family grow. She had a kind spirit that showed through her love of animals. Over the years she adopted three dogs. Missie, Maggie and Buster shared many years of unconditional love and loyalty with her.
Brooxie is survived by son, Jerry Williams and wife Kay of Paris; daughter, Judy Horn and husband Marshall of Keller; daughter-in-law, June Williams of Abilene; grandchildren, Jerald Williams, Katie Williams, Toni Kerr, Casey Williams, Loss Horn and Daniel Walton; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Abigail and Madison Williams; Taylor Richardson; Savannah and Haylee Williams; Wyatt and Sawyer Horn and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Jinkins Jr; husband Loss “L.C.” Williams; son Randall; son David; son LR “Bud” and great-granddaughter Elanor.
A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 29th at 1:00pm, at June and Bud Williams home in Abilene.
