

Donald Scaff, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 in Fort Worth. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on August 12, 1951 in Dallas, Texas.
Donald honorably served his country in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life he carried with pride. Following his service, he dedicated over 40 years to working with the United States Postal Service, where he built a career marked by commitment and reliability.
Donald was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather whose life was defined by his deep love for family. He loved big, and that love was felt by everyone who knew him—especially his grandchildren, who adored his playful, goofy personality and cherished every moment spent with him.
At the center of Donald’s world was his beloved wife, Kathy. Together, they created a lifetime of memories, enjoying travel and just being together. He found his greatest joy in the simple moments—spending time with his grandchildren, listening to music, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, skeet shooting, diving, and always filled the room with laughter.
Donald was a Godly man and was actively involved at Keller Church of Christ. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his church family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Donald is survived by his wife, Kathy Scaff; son, Jason Scaff and his wife, Cretia; son, Quentin Wilmot and his wife, Melissa; son, Nathan Wilmot and his wife, Lindsy; grandchildren, Peyton Barnett, Garrett Ford, Kaylei Scaff, Brantley Scaff, Nora Wilmot, Lilly Wilmot, and Natalie Wilmot; sister, Myrna Meadows; sister, Marie Elene Harkrider, brother, George Scaff and Sister-in-law, Eva Harkrider.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mary Scaff; daughter, Melissa Ford; brother, Darryl Harkrider and brother, Steve Harkrider.
The visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on May 14, 2026 at Keller Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on May 15, 2026 at Keller Church of Christ, 205 S. Elm Street, Keller, TX 76248. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211 at 2:30pm.
