

Elisa Marie Kominski, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away on August 1, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, dog mom, and a dear friend to all who knew and loved her.
She was born on December 3, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, to Elizabeth Farro. Known by friends and family as Lisa, she was a devoted Christian and a faithful follower of the Lord. Lisa was generous, kind, compassionate, and loving to all who knew her well.
She was a true animal lover—especially of cats and dogs—and was rarely seen without her loyal companions by her side. She had her beloved dog Spirit for 12 years, followed by Biscuit, who remained with her for the last three years of her life.
In her earlier years, Lisa loved to dance and sing, and she spent several years as part of her church choir in New York.
Elisa is survived by her children, Paul James Zimmermann, Thomas John McDermott, and Anna Maria LiCausi, all of Brooklyn, New York; her brother, Jim Kominski; and her grandchildren, Marielise Anna Martinez, Christian Leonardo Martinez, Joshua David Martinez, Isabella Rachel Martinez, and Hailey Rose Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Kominski.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Keller Old Town Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Keller Old Town Funeral Home.
