Gilbert Dennis Delgado, age 91, born December 28, 1926 in Alice Texas and passed away on November 21, 2018 in Fort Worth Texas and was born the only son to Felix and Sarah Delgado. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Natalie, Sara, and Consuelo and son, Robert (Cristina). He is survived by his children, Irene Delgado Harvey, Linda Delgado Serrano (Jose), Diane Delgado Self (Danny), Denise Delgado Essary (Shannon), Darrel Delgado (Carin) and Debra Delgado Alanis; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In the early years he served his country in the United States Army and Army Air Corps. He later went on to retire from a long civil service career in jet engine mechanics. He had a love for music and played various instruments in his younger years. He was an enthusiastic bowler and in later years enjoyed different types of novels.
Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248. Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, November 29, 2019 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
