

On Saturday, March 28, LCDR (Ret) Glen Eric Deveau, beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away at the age 50 due to consequences of chondrosarcoma. He was born February 16, 1970 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Beverly Deveau (Warren) and John Deveau. Glen was a warrior, both mentally and physically strong. He served his country enlisting in 1988 in the United States Navy and retired in 2015 as an Officer in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. He lived in several states including Mississippi, Colorado, Virginia, eventually calling Keller, Texas his home. He graduated with a Master’s of Science in Education at the University of Southern Mississippi. He dedicated his life to public service, always striving for greatness as a Biloxi, MS Police Officer, US Air Marshall, Coast Guard Intelligence Coordination Center Analyst, and finally a US Air Force Aviation Targeting Supervisor. Glen was a member of the American Legion. Glen left a lasting legacy of dedication and bravery that inspires all of us. He was known as Mr. Fix-it to his family and loved spending time doing special art projects with his daughter, Mary. His hobbies included guns, airplane modeling, motorcycle riding, and jeep off-roading. He is survived by his wife, Dara Deveau (Stock), beloved child, Mary Elizabeth; mother, Beverly Deveau (Warren) and father, John Deveau, (Betty); brother of Kim Swan (Glenn); son-in-law of Sara, Stephen (Svetlana); brother-in-law to Kara (Dana) and Stephen; uncle to Sarah, Sophie, Jillian, Derek, and Killian. He also leaves a host of family and friends to cherish his memories including very special friends, Chuck Elder and Erin Long.
A private viewing for the family occurred on March 29, 2020 at Keller’s Old Town Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
A Military burial service with Military Honors and escorts will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11:00am.
