Glenn Buffington of Haslet, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on August 22, 1942, in Lucedale, Mississippi to Oliver Elisha and Mary Jane (Heathcock) Buffington. Glenn graduated high school in Grove Hill, Alabama and received his bachelor’s degree from David Lipscomb in Nashville, Tennessee. While in college he met and fell in love with his wife of 61 years, Connie Woodson. They have two children, Shane Buffington and Tracie Davis (husband-Montie); eight grandchildren, Garrett Davis, Colton Davis (wife-Renée), Callie Brink (husband-Al), Ransom Davis, Shiloh Davis (wife-Maru), Addie Davis, Cash Davis, Trace Davis; one great-grandson, Mateo Davis; and one great-granddaughter to be born soon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Because of his heart to tell people about Jesus, Glenn spent his life as a minister and missionary with the Church of Christ. He enjoyed golf, baseball, pecan pie, and listening to his now vintage record collection. He always loved a good joke, but most of all he loved his family. Glenn is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Buffington; his father, Oliver Elisha Buffington; and his brothers, Roland Buffington and Raymond Buffington. On Sunday, March 16, there will be a visitation at 1:00 pm and a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm at Keller’s Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas. He will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Bourland Cemetery, 900 Bourland Road, Keller, Texas.
