Helen was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Frank and Monica Mazurkevich. A devoted mother and hardworking professional, Helen built a successful career in banking while raising her two sons, Paul and Frank, as a single mother in New York City. Through dedication and determination, she rose through the ranks to become a Bank Vice President, all while being an exceptional and loving mother.
Helen shared a close bond with her brother, Frank Mazurkevich, and his family-Ruth, Adam, and Jennifer. Four years ago, she moved to Texas to be near her beloved grandchildren, Tyler and Cassidy, with whom she shared a special and loving relationship.
She is survived by her son, Frank Oehl, and his wife, Laurie; her grandchildren, Tyler Oehl and Cassidy Corso; her brother, Frank Mazurkevich, and his wife, Ruth; niece, Jennifer Mazurkevich; and nephew, Adam Mazurkevich.
Helen is preceded in death by her son, Paul Oehl, and her parents, Frank and Monica Mazurkevich.
Helen will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.
