I had the pleasure of working with Henry at two different companies in the shoe business.  I could always count on Henry to "suit up and show up".  Henry was the best!  He loved his family dearly as he talked about them all the time.  The angels in Heaven are probably going to start wearing shoes now that Henry is there to put them on their feet.  My condolences to the family.  

I met Henry at Nordstrom North East Mall.  Henry was my go to guy for almost 10 years.  

Henry was always kind and respectful. He was dressed in a beautiful suit everyday, even when the dress code was not as strict, Henry would show up looking so nice.  

I knew Henry's days off, I would wait and get my shoes when I knew he would be working. When my first granddaughter started walking and wearing shoes I naturally took her Nordstrom. I wasnt happy with the service in the  children's area.  Henry asked "What's wrong  Miss Golightly"?  I told him my concern. He left the womens shoe department, took time to fit my granddaughter properly. Henry said I will always be glad to help you with any shoe.  Henry sold all three of my granddaughters their first big girl shoes. Henry was the epitome of class and professionalism. 
 
The North East Mall location closed and I didnt see Henry after the closing. 

Some of my fondest memories at the North East Mall location included Henry.  

Even though I was just a customer, I thought of Henry as my friend.  

Sweet, kind and gentle Henry, you will be missed.

From the minute my sister Cindy and I came to live with poppa Henry and his wife Dora in 1967, he called us his daughters and nothing less. He made two little orphan girls feel wanted and cared about instantly.  They  had only been married 1 year, he was 24 and she was 22.  What an amazing couple at such young ages to be willing to be instant parents. He always encouraged us that the sky was the limit to anything we wanted to do and I took him at his word and became a flight attendant and flew all over the world. He taught us to pray at the dinner table and took us to church to learn about God. He played with us, cried with us and was there for every occasion of our lives. There will never be enough words of gratitude to my dad, poppa Henry for loving his wife Dora, her two little sisters and our mother enough to see that we had a loving home with kindness and laughter to grow up in. He even showed me love when he had to correct me.  He gave me the nick name Ralrie because his oldest son Jared could not pronounce my name Valerie correctly  when he was a little boy, he could only say Ralrie,  So whenever poppa saw me, he would say, " how are you Ralrie." I will forever have fond and loving memories of  my poppa Henry for a lifetime.   With great sadness and love in my heart for you. I will miss you.  Your oldest bonus daughter.  Ralrie :-)  

Uncle Henry, if I were to reduce to words what my experience with your spirit was like over the past 51 years of my life, they would be these:  acute kindness, very tangible sincerity, infectious laughter and light-heartedness and  he, along with my Dad, taught me the greatest, single-word greeting ever known:  "man."  We will miss you, man.

Dear Henry, On a glorious sun shining Monday mine and Kathy’s hearts are filled with sadness. The loss of Henry means a strong, loving, family man with amazing work ethics is know longer with us. I met Henry November 2011. Having 30 plus years of retail experience, Henry introduced himself and immediately projected a level of confidence that I instantly related to. I loved when he would approach me to check his #’s on the IPad. He was always grateful to receive positive reinforcement that he was on pace reaching his goals. 8 and 1/2 years of my life Working with Henry he didn’t  always realize he was motivating so many sales associates or maybe he was just challenging all us. Henry and my niece Dora (Turnbow) Morgan were dating when I met Henry.  I graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1961, just one year before Henry.  Although I did not know him well, I always liked him.  My sincere condolences and prayers go out to all the Morgans and Turnbows.  God bless them all.

My condolences to Dora, Jared, Jason, and family for the loss of Henry my 1st cousin. I will greatly miss Henry and his kindness.  Henry was a hard worker and loved his family. Henry loved Jesus Christ and his kindness showed that love.  As a child I remember Henry as a fun cousin and telling jokes. He danced like Elvis of Rock n Roll.  I loved to watch him and his sister Genice  get ready for there dates as teenagers.  Henry loved my mother very much Betty Sue Morgan Rushing. Henry loved our Aunt Mamie and Uncle Jay and cousin Will Morgan. It was fun to have all of us together at times.  It is sad for me that he is gone, but I know that he is with Jesus Christ our savior.

Ron and I met Henry and Dora for the first time three years ago but we feel as if we have known them all our lives.  We learned Henry loved Dr. Pepper and he and Ron became fast friends as this is also Ron’s favorite soda.  Two year’s ago we had the pleasure of having Henry and Dora visit with us in Pennsylvania.  Henry shared with us stories of his meeting Dora, the love of his life, his job, the raising of their family,  and travel.  His sharing of his love for Christ, how he  became a believer and accepted the Lord was the best.  Although only knowing Henry for a short time we will have these memories to cherish.  We love you Henry Morgan.

To all of Henry’s extended family, but especially to his wife, Dora, his faithful, loving, kindred spirit:   Linda and I want to express our deepest condolences and heartfelt sorrow to each and every one of you.  “Dora and Henry” (together) was how many of us in the Turnbow/Moore families thought about and referred to Henry or Dora.   Together for over 50 years—one in Spirit—God blessed—Christ  centered.
That’s how Linda and I would love to be remembered as our legacy!  Thank you Dora for sharing Henry with us over the years.  He was a gentleman’s gentleman. Friendly, kind, attentive, hard-working, fun-loving.  We will always treasure and miss him and just cannot imagine the impact of his loss on immediate family and so many others. Our condolences goes out to Dora, Jared and Jason and all those who have had their lives enhanced or changes by their relationship with Henry.  He will be surely missed in our every day lives but his spirit will always be with us.  

Tomorrow we will bury Henry in his final resting place,He was the Best Big Brother a little girl could ever have. He protected  me as a child,he encouraged me as a teenager,and he stood beside me  and Tommy as our Best Man when we married.I know Henry will as always will be a Wonderful Big Brother to All the Little  Angels in Heaven .I will always be eternally grateful  for my Big Brother.

Now we all should be looking for that day when we will be with him and our other loved ones who have gone before him.  My Thanks goes out to Henry and the family for being a Good Friend, Brother-in law, and Uncle.

It was so sad to hearing of the passing of Henry. I had the pleasure, and great honor to work with Henry at Nordstrom’s.  I was the Men’s Shoe Mgr at our Hurst store when I first met Henry. He was a joy to talk with , and shared many stories with me. I can still hear his voice  “Hello young man!!” he would say. Henry was a mentor not only to his peers on the sales team , but to the managers and leaders across the store. I last spoke to Henry in 2016 when he was being recognized for the excellent service he gave to our customers. He also thrilled all of us who were there with his “Elvis Moves”!! As I am now in Sales the last 5 years I know I have had a lot of great Sales Leaders to look up to, and Henry is one of those people. Thank You Henry .. May you Rest In Peace.  To the Morgan Family my deepest condolences on your loss. I hope the many memories shared with Henry will bring comfort and smiles for years to come.   James Vasquez 

It’s been many many years since I’ve seen my cousin Henry. As a child, I remember him being so kind and caring. He was, like my Uncle Lamar Morgan, always telling jokes and having a good time with everyone. My prayers and sympathy to his family.

It was a great pleasure working with Henry for 2 years. Sweetest man and was always cracking jokes. He taught me some of the best phrases I’ve never heard of before. If I did a favor for him he would return a favor without question. So glad to have known him. Thank You Henry, for all the coffee cards and great conversations. 

I will miss your warmth, smile and hugs, you certainly made me feel welcome to the family, your joy of life and joining us for special events always added a very extra feel of joy.  

When Pete passed my wonderful brother told my daughter and grandchildren he would be their Uncle/Grandpa Henry.  My grandchildren and I will always remember he and Dora sitting with them while Pete was on his journey to the Lord.  Thank you Henry.  I love you

What a blessing it was to meet "Dad"/Henry.  We were instantly drawn to him and "Mom"/Dora.  We felt we had know them forever and loved them.  How much sweeter heaven must be even though Henry is missed so much here on earth.  Cherish your memories and hold tight to the promises of Jesus.  What a great heavenly reunion one day!
