Born in New York on September 23, 1958, Janet was the beloved daughter of the late David Lester Fry and JoAnn Miller Fry.
Janet was known for her service-minded nature, her loving heart, and her quiet strength. A talented seamstress, baker, and crafter, she brought beauty and creativity into the lives of those she loved. She showed her devotion to people through quiet service, but also through her baking, crafts, and creative projects. Above all, she was happiest when serving others or simply being surrounded by her grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted spouse, Keith Phelps; her children, Shannon Earl, Vince Earl, Jonathon Phelps, and Sarah Phelps; her cherished grandchildren, Nathan Phelps, Kyle Phelps, Dylan Phelps, Ethan Earl, and Aemon Earl; and her siblings, Barbara and David Shaw, Karen and Jeff Fullmer, Susan and Reid Melville, and James and Patricia Fry.
A viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Keller Old Town Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will follow on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hurst Stake Center.
