How does one think of just one memory after being friends for over 50 years. Patty and I met when we were living in Columbia, MO. We fast become friends, and have remained so to this date.

One of the best memories when living in Columbia, MO was when we lived next door to my now husband Jim. He had a 1969 GTO which I absolutely fell in love with. He had asked if we would take him to the airport in Kansas City so he could fly back to visit his family in South Dakota. Well....we didn't even have to think about that. Patty went with me to Milan for the weekend and we thought we were great stuff tooling around in a car like Jim had.

Patty thought of the Steele family from Milan, MO as her extended family sharing times with us. I moved back from Sioux Falls, SD, in 2000, and we were able to talk more and see each other coming up to Chillicothe, and even attending a concert together in Kansas city. Patty had always wished that she had come from a family such as ours, where all of the siblings loved each other and where family gatherings were so much fun and where we support each other. But my friend is at peace now and for that I am thankful. Paul our condolences go out to you during this difficult time. Pam and Jim Jarding
