

Sheryl "Sherry" Ann Jackson Blalock, born on January 6, 1956, passed away peacefully on August 9th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering faith. Sherry was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and mamaw, whose life was centered around her family and her passions. She was the beloved daughter of the late Gene Byron (1972)and P. Joan Jackson (2012) and was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Kay Sanders (1998) and brother, Ricky Keith Jackson (2001).
Sherry is survived by her loving husband, Greg Blalock, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage, having tied the knot on October 7, 1989. Her memory will also be cherished by her children; Clint and husband Heng Mumpower, Shanna and Jason Beayrd, and her treasured grandchildren, Shelby and Declan Warren, Cameron McLellan, and Hayden McLellan. As well as several life long friends and extended family members.
Throughout her life, Sherry was known for her crafting skills, various hobbies and her love for animals. She had a deep love for antiquing, always on the lookout for hidden treasures with stories to tell. Her hands were never idle, as she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, jewelry and wreath making, creating beauty and warmth in everything she touched. Through Sherry’s various projects they showed her abundant creativity and love that she shared with others.
As the daughter of an ironworker, Sherry's childhood involved many moves, but she always called Bristol, Texas, home. Sherry embraced each new place with resilience and grace, making lasting connections wherever she went.
Sherry’s Christian faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and providing comfort throughout her journey. She was a woman of deep convictions, always putting others before herself and living a life that reflected her beliefs.
Services will be held Friday August 16th at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home located at 220 Keller Parkway Keller TX 76248; viewing from 12:00-2:00 pm and funeral at 2:00pm.
Graveside service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX.
There will be a small reception at the Blalock residence following the services. Sheryl Ann Jackson Blalock will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, as they carry forward the love, wisdom, and joy she brought into their lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
