I Met Si in the early 80's and attended many Full Gospel Business Men's meetings with him. He was funny and always full of energy. I had a friend who called him "a regular Chamber of Commerce" all by himself. In the last few years I would see him in Church and he and I would always hug like brothers. I'll miss him but have a good idea that it won't be very long at all before we are all together in Heaven!

Si Rickman was a wonderful brother in Christ. I have precious memories of Si I'll share one story: I took Si with me to Israel, when I met with the Prime Minister and leaders of the nation. I felt a burden to go into Lebanon and bring food and medicine for the Lebanese Christians who were suffering terribly.

I had scheduled to have a service in Sidon the night before we left. The Israeli intelligence called the room. Si took the call because I wasn't there. They said, "There's going to be a terrorist attack at the time you and Mike are planning on going tomorrow."

When I got to the room that night, Si was asleep. I said, "Si are you ready to leave in the morning?"

He said, "No way. I'm not going. There's going to be a terrorist attack. If I die, my insurance will be canceled."

I still felt like God had told me to go, so I was going. I knew I had to break that spirit of fear off of Cy. So I took a trash can and dumped all the trash out of it. Si was watching me, wondering what in the world I was doing.

I filled it up with water and told Cy to get out of bed and put his feet in the trash can. He looked at me in a total daze, not understanding what I was doing. But I was actually washing his feet to break that spirit of fear.

Si had a tender heart and started weeping and praising the Lord. He said, "I'm free! Let's go." So we did. The terrorist attack happened only about five to 10 minutes before we arrived. We were there to comfort the suffering of the people. Cy is in a better place now, filled with the joy of the Lord Si is free now I hear him saying Let’s go

My earliest remembrance of Si , was Saturday Radio Marketing of Kimchee Eventually meeting him at Calvary Temple . Then there was FGBM Organization ! Then there was “The Living Lords Supper” , must have been around 1993 .I think he acted as Peter and I as Judas. Mostly , I remember tears in his eyes as he would share his Salvation experience and sharing Jesus with anyone that he met. Si made an imprint in the life many men.RIP, until we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear of Si's passing. I was always very fond of him.
One memory that stands out is when Jimmy, Becky and I went to visit them in Newport Beach. He could absolutely act like a teenager. He and I danced down the street in Newport Beach.
I really got a kick out of that. He was always so warm and welcoming. And when we visited them in Hot Springs, he made us breakfast every morning. I haven't seen him for a while but still think of hm often. He was a good man.

We knew Si through our first Texas friends, Bryan and Debbie Buchanan, when we moved from California 25 years ago. We were blessed to be with him at various family functions throughout the years. He always had a smile on his face, and upbeat and optimistic about everything. Frank and Si enjoyed talking about golf for hours. But perhaps seeing him as the most friendly Walmart greeter was the best memory. Never did he let us by the door without greeting, hugging and saying "God Bless you." We can just see him in heaven with a big smile on his face rejoicing with all the angles and dancing with the people that left before him. Thank you Jesus, he' s at his final home.

Si was responsible for me coming to know Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. Si told me I was “borned again”. Si then spent the next several months mentoring me and teaching me the Word of God! He was my spiritual father and changed the course of my life along with my family and thousands of others. I have become a soul winner like Si and he is now receiving his heavenly reward for the countless number who are and will be in heaven. He was a regional director for Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International.
We loved Si and celebrate with his family and friends knowing he has heard those words from the Lord, “well done, thou good and faithful servant”!
