

Steven Aaron Frisbie, age 39, was born October 12, 1978 in Odessa Texas and passed away August 12, 2018 in Denton, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Galloway Frisbie; son, Jacob Micha Brage; parents, Steven and Jessica Frisbie; grandmothers, Nancy Ann Woodard and Helen Louise Frisbie; siblings: Stephanie McConnell, Adam Frisbie, Ashlea Jeanae Milne and her husband Kenny and Seth Harrison Frisbie; nieces and nephews: Jordan, Mason, Emily, Oliver, Liam, Dylan, Lily, Trevyn, Isaac, Brayden, Caleb, Dallin, Kelsie and Hannah; Uncle Orland and his wife Emily Woodard and their son Zachary, Uncle Mark and his wife Annie Woodard and their children Amie and Morgan, Uncle Gary and his wife Shauna Frisbie and their children Zane, Sonnet and Nash, and his Aunt Sharon and her husband Mark Trower and their children Covey, Cailey and Chase.
He was welcomed home by his brother and Savior Christ, his grandfathers "Pa" Jesse Woodard and "Papa Bud" Clarence Frisbie, Uncle Bill Woodard and Nicholas Glen Galloway, Angela Molina Torres Barela, Ernest and Evelyn Galloway, Beth Taylor Loveless, Jason Beddow, Aunt Mabel Ratliff, Aunt "Baby" Florence Dalton, Uncle Gordon Dalton, Granny Healy, Frank Healy Jr., W.N. Woodard, Earline and "A.L" Alexander Eaves, Bobbie and John Brophy.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2018 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Graveside with Military Honors will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday August 20, 2018 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
Aaron was a VFW war veteran. He received numerous awards including: Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Iraq Campaign Medal. He served his Country in the Army National Guard overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is beloved by all who knew him.
He was an active youth and enjoyed football, band, and pole vaulting where he went to State with Lewisville High School. He was a fun adventurous friend, up for trying something a little crazy like jumping off the roof with trash bags as parachutes. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He joined the U.S. Army in 2004. He had a deep respect for his country, set from the example of his grandfather's twenty years of service, as well as a brother and sister in the service. He served for eight years earning the title of Specialist, including his role as an Armor Crewman. He sustained back and neck injuries in a combat zone in Iraq that led to many health issues, including chronic pain, PTSD, and depression for the remainder of his life. He took up an interest in photography and enjoyed developing his talent.
