Wendy Rae Kinion

Wendy Rae Kinion, of Dallas Ft Worth Texas, passed away on April 14th, 2026, in Dallas Ft Worth Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, relative, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved her.

She was born on September 5th, 1965, in Phoenix Arizona to Sandy and Jerry Barnett. Wendy graduated from MacArthur High School and then went to Northlake College and Arizona State University Class of 2000. She married Tim Kinion in Phoenix Arizona and then moved to Texas to follow her passion in real estate. She had a thriving career and business and was very happy with her career choice, where she won multiple Realtor and Property awards throughout her journey.

Wendy believed in helping those less fortunate than herself and was a shining pillar to her community and touched many lives. She was an advocate for the SPCA and loved having dogs around to play and cuddle with and when she found a stray one in need she would help as much as possible, occasionally she would even take them in as family.

Wendy is survived by Tim Kinion (husband) and Waymon Bishop Jr (son), Jerry Barnett Jr (brother), Ashley Roberts (Niece), Mike Watts (Uncle), Cindy Watts (Aunt) and her 2 dogs, Koda and Lucy.

Wendy was preceded in death by Sandy and Jerry Barnett.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on May 8th, 2026, at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home. Located at 220 Keller Pkwy Keller, TX 76248. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home and will be displayed at the Memorial service.
