

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Agatha “Aggie” Turner born February 7, 1930 and passing just two weeks short of her 95th birthday. Aggie passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Rick.
She is lovingly survived by her sons Gary (Kate) and Tim (Lea) grandchildren Eric, Katie (Cory), Sidney (Chris) Jake (Megan) Gemma, Will and Sophia. Great grandchildren Regan, Mason and Harriet. Aggie is also survived by her loving sister Emily Buhman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born to George and Juliana Flegel, Aggie was one of 8 siblings growing up on a farm in Manitoba. She spent her early life in Winnipeg attending Business College and working at Manitoba Tel. She later moved to Kelowna with her parents after selling the farm. After arriving in Kelowna she met Rick and the two were soon married and raising a family. She could aways be found at the Kelowna Memorial Arena cheering on her sons playing hockey.
She worked for many year at the Bank of Montreal moving through the ranks and ending up in the loans department. She followed Ricks passion for golf and was a long time member of the Kelowna Golf and Country club forging many memories and life long friends. It was always her favourite place to go for coffee or a meal.
Aggie will be remembered for her humor, kindness and generosity, easily making you feel at ease or making a new friend. Her hospitality was legendary often having the coffee on and multiple baked good to choose from.
A special thank you to Dr. Mike Bobyn, Dr. Alisha Gray, Dr. Ganesan Dr. Koss and Dr Bishop. To the care aides and staff at Mill Creek who made a huge difference to her life. To Pat Zoller looking after all the little things and a heartfelt thank you to her sister Emily who’s depth of love compassion and care cannot be measured nor matched.

Father Maurice Okolie will lead prayers on Wednesday January 29th at 7:00pm at Immaculate Conception Church 839 Sutherland Ave Kelowna and the Funeral Service Thursday January 30 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church 839 Sutherland Ave A reception will follow at the Immaculate Conception Hall.
