Albert Eugene (Gene) Allen

Born in Peace River Alberta, Gene journeyed through life and across Canada and the world with Madeleine, his beloved wife of 64 years. Along the way they were blessed with a growing and loving family of four children, four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many precious friends, each of whom carries a story of Gene’s humour, kindness, and generosity of spirit.

Gene had a long and varied career that impacted many lives through his warmth, humour, and generosity as a friend. Special times for Gene included his 22 years of service with the Royal Canadian Airforce and his 10 years of service with Seton House of Prayer.

To Celebrate Gene’s life and honor the legacy his presence has made in our lives, a service will be held at St Charles Garnier Church (3645 Benvoulin Road) on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:30 AM
