Arthur Robert Cheater

Robert passed away on October 18, 2016 at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 54 with his family by his side. He is survived by his ex-wife, Beverly; his six wonderful children, Kiawna, Danika, Curtis, Alyssa, Lucas and Markus; one brother, two sisters and their families. Robert was predeceased by his parents Pat and Marie Cheater.

Robert was a sports enthusiast and Elementary School PE teacher. He began teaching in Coquitlam in 1990. His teaching career took him to Kemano in 1997 and then onto Kelowna in 2000. Early in his career he can always be found playing floor hockey in the school gym after school with his students. He enjoyed coaching his son’s soccer team and spent countless hours at Mt. Boucherie Ice Rink playing music for his daughters’ figure skating club. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 5th at St. George's Anglican Church, 3690 Brown Road, West Kelowna.
