Beverly Elise Weber, of Kelowna, British Columbia, ascended off this mortal planet on December 16th, 2023, at 1.15 AM PST, at the Hospice House in Kelowna, BC. With her devoted faith in her heart, she is now at peace and exploring the Mansions in the sky with her family and friends. In her last hours, Bev was comforted by her loving husband of 51 years, Bill, her youngest daughter Coree, her nephew Ken and his wife Karen, her lifelong friend Wendy and her son, Rod as well as her great friends Sandy, Kelvin and Vie.
Bev was a vivacious saleswoman that pioneered the sales of a new, technological breakthrough called “The Microwave”. Bev then parlayed her sales expertise and her love of fashion into her new enterprise of jewelry sales. Her number one jewelry pieces often went unsold as they were gifted to her closest friends and family. But that was how Bev rolled and this demonstrates her legacy of generosity, which she showed throughout her life by her abundance of gifts, to the people she felt needed it the most.
Bev is most fondly remembered for her love for music and her zeal for the beach. There would not be a day that Bev wouldn’t being playing the Bee Gees, while ensuring her daughters would partake in the ritualistic, disco dance “The Bus Stop”. Birch Bay was another one of Bev’s passions, where her and Bill loved to entertain her family and friends. You could always find Bev, her daughter Jacke and many friends at the beach swimming and lounging carefree. Once in Kelowna, Bev especially loved floating around Okanagan Lake on her noodle, with a big smile on her face!
There are too many good memories to share but know this, Bev's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family; husband Bill, daughters Jacke and Coree, son in-law Robert, son Dean, grandchildren Shaun, Jayme and Michelle, grand doggy Biggie and her beloved great grandchildren Liam, Willow, Logan, King, Isla, Dean and Siegel who will find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with her.
Everyone who remembers Bev is asked to celebrate her in your own way and remember the great times you had with our Mommy! Details for the memorial service will be shared once solidified.
In lieu of flowers, Bev would hope that you would do an unexpected, unsolicited, and non-judgemental act of kindness to some unfortunate soul in her name, as she would have done the same.
May Mom enjoy her life with her family and friends in heaven and have eternal peace, her memory a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
“John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
