With sad hearts, we announce the passing of Brian, who left us on Sunday October 13th
with his wife and daughter Lori by his side.
Brian will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Sara-Lee of 55 years, and his daughters Lori and Tammy. Also his brother Lyle McKenzie, and cousins, nephews, and nieces that have expressed their love for this man.
Brian lived most of his life in Kelowna. He worked for the BC Liquor Board for many decades before retiring. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Brian then worked for the BC Commissioners for a few years.
Brian enjoyed swimming, camping, golf, and playing pool. He also loved to have fun and joke around. A very caring man towards all family and friends.
The last few years, Brian struggled with many things, but fought like a trooper to bounce back.
So now Brian, it is your time for some peace, joy, and a very well earned rest.
As per Brian's request, there will be no service. We would like to thank Kelowna Hospice House for the very relaxing environment, and the excellent care of Brian and the family.
