IN THE CARE OF
Valleyview Funeral Home
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Carolyn Phyllis Bray passed away on March 17th, 2023, at the age of 74 years. Born May 11th, 1948, to Al and Phyllis Barr of Trail BC.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Dan; children; Tammy, Ryan, and many chosen children; grandchildren; Brandon, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Kendra, Keira, Kyran, Kaleb, Daniel; great-grandchildren; Aaliyah, Lynnea, Harlow; mother; Phyllis and sister Linda, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving father Al, daughters Rhonda and Carla.
Her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, giving unconditional love and support. She got married on June 12, 1981, to her one true love Daniel Bray. They spent 41 years together building a beautiful family, lots of amazing memories and their dream home in Naramata where they resided for 20 years.
Carol/Granny wrote this as her final words “I have chosen to write a final goodbye to all the people in my life that I love. I hope you will understand that I didn’t want the last memory of me, to be attending my funeral. I know it’s a last chance to say goodbye, but I don’t want the last memory of me to be sad. Instead, I would like you to stay in your home and listen to the following piece of music ‘The Prayer by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli’.”
Rest Easy Granny, love you Chicken, Kaitlyn.
