Clara Belle Loraine Manning
March 28, 1930 – December 22, 2019
Clara Belle was born March 28, 1930 in High River, Alberta to Winebert & Lucinda Kemery and passed peacefully into eternity on December 22, 2019. Clara Belle was raised with five brothers and five sisters. She was predeceased by eight of her beloved siblings and several of her brothers and sisters-in-law. Mom is survived by her precious siblings Florence and Leo, as well as some brothers and sisters-in-law. Clara Belle was also predeceased by Kelly, her husband of 58 years as well as her daughter-in-law Jean, grandson Blair, four nephews and two great-nieces. Mom is survived by all seven of her children, Kelly (Laura), Lionel, Michael (Theresia), Paul, Kemery (Bonnie), Sara (Angus), and Lucinda (Clarke). She is also survived by grandchildren Sean, Cara, Neal, Alecia (Darcy), Jason (Carla), Jenny (Nick), Todd, Lindsay (Steven), Donn, Paige, A.J. (Ria), Bruce, Calab, Dallas, and Taylor, great-grandchildren Ty, Chris, Zak, Taysha, Miya, Terek, Alyssa, Silas and William, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Mom graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Galt School of Nursing in 1953. After working her entire nursing career in various hospitals and rest homes she retired from Sutherland Hills Rest Home at the age of seventy. Clara Belle will be remembered fondly and missed by much family, many friends and old classmates, as well as her friends at the Church of the Nazarene, Kelowna Bible Chapel and the Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Gerstmar Road. On what would have been Mom’s 90th birthday, March 28, 2020 we will be having a celebration of her life at Valleyview Funeral Home, in Kelowna at 3:00 pm. Our sincere condolences and prayers to the Manning family. We got to know Clara Belle at Cottonwoods. She was such a little sweetheart and her smile was so precious. We will surely miss her at bingo.

Condolences! Bella was always in good spirits, we will miss her, the LORD will look after. She was born thirteen days before me and often said I was her first boy friend. First cousins, very good friends.
