Clarence Richard Darcy Nagel

NAGEL: Darcy, passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2020 with loved ones by his side. Darcy was born in leader, Sask, February 27th, 1934. He was predeceased by his first wife Rosemarie (Dec 2004), second wife Alice (Dec 2011) and his brother Charles. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Harris, daughter Wendy (Jim) Marr, son Richard (Dina) and son Shane. He also had six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Darcy lived his life to the fullest whether at work or at home. There was nothing that meant more to him was to regale people with travel stories and work stories with a twinkle in his eye. He loved a good game of golf and cards (his opponents were usually on the losing end). Darcy worked across Canada and in several countries around the world as well as travelling to countries that he had not seen. Family was important to him and he was a proud parent, grandparent, and great grandparent. He was well loved and respected by all who knew him both friends and co-workers alike. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association, 200-1890 Cooper Road, Kelowna in Memory of Darcy. Due to the Covid outbreak, a private family inurnment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Kelowna. Arrangements entrusted with First Memorial Funeral Services, Kelowna. 250-762-2299
