It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford Henry Keilback on October 24th 2020 at the age of 88 after a brave battle with Alzheimer’s. Cliff was born September 3rd 1932 in Beausejour, Winnipeg. Cliff will be lovingly remembered by his sons Wayne and Darrell and daughter Jeanine and son in-law Ken, grandchildren Jenna, Audra, Curtis, Justin, Kyle, Tanner, Celene and Cole as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his sister Irene and brother Fred. He is predeceased by his loving wife Phyllis and daughters Sharon and Kim, his brother Gordon, his sister Evelyn as well as his parents Frank and Catherine. Cliff moved to Vancouver as a young teenager where he later met his wife Phyllis in 1956. They raised five children, three girls and two boys. In 1971 they moved to Kelowna where he built a family home and worked for many years as a pipefitter. In 1980 he moved his family to Calgary, Alberta where he started a commercial sprinkler system business. Cliff and Phyllis missed the Okanagan and a few years later, moved back to Kelowna where he resided for the remainder of his life. Cliff spent several happy years on many adventures with family and friends. His humor, wit and strong love of life will surely be missed. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Village at Millcreek where he resided for about eight years as well as staff and caregivers at Brookhaven where he spent the last year and a half of his life.
A graveside service will be held on Friday November 6th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. The service will be live streamed for those who cannot attend. A private gathering for family and friends will be held at a future date due to Covid to honor Cliff’s life.
