We are deeply saddened to announce my Dad passed away peacefully in hospice with daughter Sue at his side. Age 89, just 2 weeks shy of reaching 90. He was sadly predeceased by his first wife Mary in 1978, brother Tom, parents Thomas and Harriet, sister-in-law Joan, brothers-in-law John B and John N, infant grandson Kyle, and more recently his wife Blanche in October of this year.
He is survived by daughter Sue (David), grandchildren Brett and Leanne, his stepsons and stepdaughters in Ontario—Ed, Dan, Peter, Andre, Louise, Janice, Maryann, Jeanne—and their families. His sister Sybil and sister-in-law Theresa and their families in the UK.
An extremely stoic, kind, compassionate man with strong values in every facet of life. Dad you will be so missed and loved forever.
There will be no formal funeral service per Dad’s request. There will be a quiet family celebration of his life in the UK next year, where Dad will be finally laid to rest.
