Dad was a hardworking, determined family man who exceeded in providing for his family. He taught himself and all of us how to downhill ski. He would rise early in the morning to make big breakfast and pack lunches. He would drive us and our friends to the hill every weekend we wanted to go....no questions asked. If he didn’t want to ski he would patiently wait till the day was over. Earl and Darlene retired in the Okanagan where he spent much of his time fly fishing with Kalamalka fly fishers club where he was an honorary member. Dad loved to garden and was a great handyman. He was very generous with his time. He loved to help with home projects and always had a silly sense of humour when he was doing what he loved to do. Dad will be sadly missed not only by his family but by all our family friends. He touched many people’s lives with his sweet smile, gentle hugs and quiet words of encouragement...“you can do it!”
Will be sadly missed but never forgotten. We love and miss you Dad
