

CZEREDNIKOW, EUGENE Born in Lodz, Poland on December 10th 1922, and moved to Canada with his wife and sons in 1954. Predeceased by his wife Gerda, he will be greatly missed by his children Rene (Jean), Harry (Michelle) and Irene (Dave). Also in mourning are his three granddaughters; Lisa (Craig), Dominique (Francis), Chantal and grandson Chad; great grandchildren Lauren and Gavin; two nephews and two nieces with their families; and sister-in-law Erika. Employed by Air Canada for 37 years, Eugene was a hard working individual and talented artist. He gained an interest in art at a young age from his own father and later began developing his own style with abstracts and abstract landscapes. He used oil paint as his main medium, and also experimented with epoxy. His works have been exhibited in Winnipeg, Montreal, Ottawa and Kelowna and he was a founding member of Kelowna’s Alternator Gallery. His paintings are distributed throughout Canada, the US, and Europe. Another legacy he leaves behind is the large stained glass windows he designed for Christ Lutheran Church in Kelowna. Memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 2019 Gordon Dr. on Tuesday December 21st at 11 AM; Pastor Patricia Giannelia presiding.
