One of the things I was taught as a child was to always say “I love you” as you leave a loved ones house. As you never know if that’ll be the last words you say to someone. I will forever cherish the fact that the last words I said and heard from you were “I love you”.  It’s taken me a few days to get my thoughts and words together but for a woman as special as you it’s almost impossible to sum up all the good that you brought in to EVERYONES lives so selflessly. All the recipes you shared with me and advice and knowledge only a great grandmother could give. Being able to spend the sundays of my childhood playing outside at your house, then years later being gifted the opportunity to have my own child do the same thing is one of the things in life I will treasure the most. You are truly an angel of a woman and NO one will ever forget that. I know you’ll always be watching over the whole family as you always did, and  my baby boy will forever have a guardian angel looking down on him. Please everyone hug your loved ones cause time is not your friend all the time the sound of wind chimes will never just be the sound of the wind but I know it’ll be you.  I love you Great grandma. 

My Aunty and the love she shared with me meant so much to me.  She was never too busy to lend an ear, or be supportive, and she gave the best hugs that I was looking forward to sharing again soon.  She was like a second mom to me growing up, and I have cherished those memories my entire adult life, because I was so lucky to have been on the receiving end of her love, honestly, and playful nature.  All the times we sang together and she played the organ, or camping, or garage sales, my million perms she painstakingly gave me😁I just had fun with her.  She made me laugh and feel loved, and that my life was important.  One of my favourite memories with her was the many times I’d fall asleep with my head in her lap at church and she’d play with my hair winding it around her finger,  she just made me feel safe and loved.  
Thank you so much Aunty for making time for me over the years and sharing your love, laughter and more recently your amazing support and faith with me.  I will miss our texts, and phone calls, but I know you are only a prayer away❤️And always in my heart.

I am terribly sorry for the loss of my aunt. I never had a chance to meet Frieda and I really wish I could have. Hilda my grandmother and my father Daryl, spoke highly of Frieda.

Dear Ron and Family,
I was deeply saddened by the loss of your dear wife, mother and grandmother. Frieda was a strong and caring woman who made herself available to anyone in need, if only just a hug and a little encouragement.
I have pleasant memories of the times we shared as neighbours, exchanging conversations of school or family events, over a cup of tea, trading recipes, sewing tips or the joys of our children growing up.
Often my medical issues would confine me. I’d answer the phone to hear Frieda extending her love and prayers for my well being. 
I am grateful, Frieda, to have been considered your “forever friend”.  I extend my love and prayers to you and your family.
