Gordon William Senger

With the most heart breaking sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father & papa. Survived by his loving family, wife, Barbara, sons Matthew (Jodi), & Curtis (Kelly). Grandchildren Nixon, Olivia, Hanna, Camryn, Kinsley & Tyson. Brother Pat, & sister Karen (Scott). Mother-in-law Jean, sister-in-law Cathy (Lance), & brother-in-law Brent (Heather). Numerous nieces, nephews & relatives. He was pre-deceased by his parents William & Barbara, brother Terry, & sisters Deborah & Tammy.

Gord was born and raised in Kelowna where he met and married the love of his life in 1977. He started logging with his dad at the young age of 17. He continued to work in the logging industry his whole life, teaching and working beside his sons. He was a hard worker and an extremely dedicated family man. His wife and sons were his world. Then his world became ‘papa’ to his 5 beautiful grandbabies. He would spend hours upon hours playing & teaching them all he could. Papa was considered the “Party King”. He was an avid hunter, and spent every season with his boys, camping & hunting all around B.C.

He will be forever in our hearts and forever missed. We love you, forever and always.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road, Kelowna.
