ANDERSON: Angela 1920 - 2013 . The family of Hylda Eileen Anderson, known to everyone as Angela, is sad to announce the passing of their beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother on January 21, 2013 at Kelowna General Hospital. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children. Angela was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Andy Anderson. She is survived by four children, Paula Katzmann (Phoenix AZ), Ingrid (Chuck) Davison, Allanah Weston, Ed (Kathy) Anderson, five granddaughters, Ingrid DiRusso, Dustin Stadnyk, Zoë Perkins, Troë Weston and Sarah Anderson, and four great-grandchildren. Angela was born in England in 1920 and immigrated to Canada as a British War Bride in 1947. As the wife of an RCMP officer she moved around Saskatchewan until retiring to Kelowna in 1969. Angela loved to sing, write poetry, and entertain her many friends. She loved life to the fullest and was also very Spiritual, serving as an active member of the Salvation Army heading the League of Mercy for several years. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorial Service to be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue on Thursday, January 24 at 11:00 AM.
